The bathroom in the room was not in good shape and smelly when you first walk through the room door. The cushion on the chair in the room was full of stains. Not impressed.

The location was excellent. The restaurant was very good quality and a great value as well. The staff in the restaurant were very thoughtful, friendly, and accomodating. The managers were excellent as well as the cleaning crew.
A few girls at the front desk were lacking in personality.

The beds are the only thing that kept us from checking out going down the street to the Belmont hotel.
The first complaint I have is that when I stayed there about four years ago I know that I had a refrigerater and a big screen tv. This time I had none of that. The thing that blew me away is there are no towel bars in the bathroom. I have a family of eight, and we couldn't even get a continential breakfast. I was going to write you folks a letter and tell you how unhappy I was with the stay this time but I have been very busy since I got back. I grew up in Battle Creek so I know how this hotel has stuggled since it has been there. From my understanding the rooms with the big tv and fridges are for the Kellogg business people. I pay the same thing that they pay for the room and I should get the same thing that they get in thier room. Then another complaint that I have is for all of those rooms that are in that hotel you only have ten parking spots outside. Is that so I will use valet. I just was so unhappy with my stay this time. When I come home I like to enjoy my stay but I can not say that I will ever stay at your hotel again.

The friendly staff, spacious room with a comfortable bed, and the excellent location near an indoor recreation center make it a great choice for your stay.

The hotel staff was very friendly and nice.
The dinner we had at BarleyCorns was very very disappointing. We both had steak which was fatty and the baked potatoes were as hard as rocks. The food took more than 1/2 hour to get (whcih the waitress apologized for) but when told about the food all she said was sorry. We will stay at the hotel but not eat there again.

The staff was very pleasant and helpful and the location was great
The room was not pleasant. The bathroom had peeling paint on the ceiling, peeling wallpaper. The chrome towel rack was extremely rusty. The chrome light fixture in the bathroom was rusty and all the bulbs had a milky film over them making the lighting very dingy. There needed to be a fan to vent moist air in the bathroom as the ceiling looked as if it could cave in. The bed was comfortable but needed some extra pillows. There was a huge open area that could have used a small table for comfort.

The room with the comfy bed was great. The location was unbeatable, just steps away from Kellogg Arena. The hotel is in a safe area close to train stations and restaurants, making it a fabulous base.

I was not assigned room type I reserved. I was assigned a double queen (514). I went back to the front desk, told them the room had an odor and that it was not the room type I had requested. I waited for two hours to be reassigned and was again assigned a double queen room (806). I am frequently in town for business. I will seek alternative hotels from this point on.
